In this way, these three men do save their company from bankruptcy by committing suicide. However, there must be alternative ways to solve this problem, such as foreign investment, and suicide is the least effective and the least recommended way.
Instead of solving problems, suicide can cause problems to both our family and our society. When one of the family members has committed suicide, the negative impact on their close relatives is immense as they sorrow for the lost one. If the deceased person is the pillar of the entire family, the economy of the family will be extremely affected and frequently, the education of the children will be affected too. In some cases, suicide of one family member often creates a chain reaction which will eventually destroy the entire family.
Public suicide will result in social instability. Teenagers who do not have a strong will power may be influenced by their inconsiderate actions, and some will even follow their footprint. Children will be prematurely haunted by the terrifying scene of suicide and this is extremely bad for their growth. Sometime, many other innocent lives might be lost in one suicide case as the person who has committed the suicide ends up murdering others in the process. In Japan, a teenage girl who had killed herself by inhaling toxic gas poisoned her neighbours in the process, causing them to be hospitalised for many days. From all these examples we can figure out the immense trouble that suicide can bring to our society.
In the Japanese culture, suicide is an act of honour. This can be shown in their kamikaze attacks in the Second World War in which the Japanese pilots tried to destroy the allied ships by deliberately bumping into them. However, that is not an act of honour, and more precisely, is an act of desperation. Therefore, the population nowadays should not feel proud to commit suicide.
Suicide should never be our solution to problems as the problems it can bring far outweigh the problems it might solve. One of the major reasons why suicide is still so prevalent today is that many people still view suicide as an act of honour. However, every one of us should help to keep our society in order, and the best way is to discourage people around us to commit suicide and educate them on the dire consequence they might result in.

Being raised up in a family of great love and surrounded by a group of sincere friends, I had never been severely punished in my life, knowing it vaguely however from the newspapers and the tube. Despite the vivid depictions, I did not truly understand the real essence of punishment, thinking that punishment is used as a painful reminder to set one on the right path once again, until that day.
The day was, as I remember, of birds chirping branches dancing in the breeze outside; beautiful and free, but was marred with the dead silence in the hall, and its tension. Jerimy was not a person who was truly mischievous or a law-breaker, but for a moment of folly, he had shoplifted and was caught, and so he was to be the first student I had ever seen to be caned in front of the public.
Jerimy had begged for forgiveness and mercy, but it was all to no avail. Shoplifting was simply not an act which anyone could just erase; it was an act not condoned by society, and its doers condemned. Jerimy simply had no chance from the start.
The tension was great as I saw Jerimy being dragged onto the stage, struggling and crying tears of humiliation and fear. Pinned onto a table and his hands bound by a rope, a board was placed over his bottom. The long slim bamboo cane was drawn out, and pausing a while, the discipline master slashed the cane down. The resounding echo was never to be forgotten in my life, and Jerimy’s cry of anguish and pain even more so. The caning went on. Jerimy’s cries shook everyone. By the third cane, Jerimy fell silent, only gasping out a small grunt of pain, having no longer the energy to cry out. Jerimy’s dignity and respect was gone forever.
With the final stroke down, the hall went silent. Nobody was unaffected by this caning as most of the student body was either trembling or averting their eyes to the stage. It was an event we never spoke of again, but yet remained so fresh in our impressionable minds.
The principal then came to the podium, and said those words which I find so ironic. He said solemnly then, "All those who are here today, you have seen a sight not to be forgotten. This boy had committed a crime, and in order to set him straight and warn the potential wrong-doers, we had this public caning. Jerimy had suffered through pain and humiliation, and most likely would never forget this incident. Jerimy, though you may hate us for what we had done, you ought to understand that by enforcing the rules and upholding the values of our society, we had given you another chance for a bright future, and you should in truth thank us."

Human cloning
Would you allow any scientific research that harms more than it helps to be carried out? To anyone, the answer is “absolutely not”. However, some unconscious scientists, who are indifferent to the dire consequences that human cloning will bring, are now carrying out such dangerous experiments. Although human cloning might be useful in the medical research, it can create needless harm to women and cause infinite sufferings to new lives. Therefore, human cloning is definitely not acceptable, and it should be immediately banned.
Human cloning will put women in needless danger which is obviously not the result we want to see. The process of human cloning involves the removal of nucleus from an egg cell so that a new set of genes could be replaced. However, due to the high failure rate in human cloning, a large amount of egg cells are required to carry out the experiments. Egg cells are so essential to women that only a few people are willing to have their egg cells taken away for experiments. Therefore, some evil people will either “buy” or kidnap women for their egg cells and after the removal of all their egg cells, these women can no longer give birth to new lives. That the women, in turn, facing the danger of losing their egg cells by either temptation or force is obviously not the result we want to see. Therefore, human cloning should not be allowed.
We cannot accept murder and therefore, we can never accept human cloning as new lives are killed in the process. In all animal species, the failure rate of cloning is enormous and a high success rate of human cloning is never guaranteed. In fact, in thousands of samples used in the experiments, only a few of them can eventually develop into babies who will most likely suffer from unexpected health problem which will end their pitiful lives at an early stage. If we consider each sample used in the experiment as a new life, then the scientists are doing nothing but massacring new lives. We cannot accept human cloning as we cannot accept the massacre Hitler had done to the Jews, and therefore, human cloning should be put into a standstill instantly.
Some scientists might want to defend their experiments by arguing its possible ability in future medical treatments. In fact, a lot of scientists and researchers do prove the amazing potential usage of human cloning in some of the medical treatments, from cancer to spinal-cord injuries. However, is it ethical to treat one’s disease by sacrificing a lot of new innocent lives? Some scientist might want to argue that the samples used in experiments are not full lives yet. However, all these samples used in the experiments are actually embryos which all of us once are. Therefore, I view all those scientists’ arguments as nonsensical and by crossing the very basic moral line, we are no much different from other primitive animals. The benefits of doing human cloning research can almost be neglected as it is not moral and ethical, and therefore it should not be allowed.

why human beings are willing to do good to others?
Human beings, like many other mammals, are social animals and we progress when we do good to others. I believe the underlying reason why human beings are willing to do good to others is that we hope to be treated well when we are in troubles. If we have helped others in need, they will most likely reciprocate by helping us in need also. Therefore, I believe that the reason why human beings are willing to do good to others is that we want others to do good to us also, and none of us is completely selfless even when we are helping others.

Embryonic stem cell research -- a new step to self destruction.

Scrap the CCTs
CCT harms the students instead of helping them, and therefore, it should be scraped. It is so obvious that CCT is only a test that can teach us neither new skills nor new knowledge, and therefore, it is not useful at all in building up our strength. Instead of helping us, CCT actually creates a lot of troubles to the students. Just think of the number of nights we need to toil instead of snoring on the bed before a CCT one can understand the immense harm it causes to our brains. Since it harms us more than it benefits us, CCT shall be scraped.
What is an exposition?
It is not easy to give a perfect and precise defination to the word "exposition". However, I believe that an expostion is a kind of writing that is able to express one's opinions to others clearly. While normal essays or stories which describe mostly the process of the events, expostions stress on the lessons learnt after the occurrance of these events.
